Teaching

I come with a decade of teaching experience both in academia and industry. I have taught undergraduate students from all backgrounds and age groups ranging from freshman to seniors.

I have also experience teaching in the industry where I taught research professionals, other full tenured faculty, postdocs, and graduate students on advance uses of proprietary software in the scientific computing and data science areas.

My diverse background allows me to also teach courses in the realms of computer science and math such as high performance and parallel computing, numerical analysis,  optimization, and statistics.

I am a big believer in adding computation and scientific computing to all of my courses to get students exposed to the various aspects of computing. By writing code in various languages such as MATLAB, C, Python, and Fortran will expose students to a plethora of skills that are highly desirable both in STEM industries as well as in graduate school.
